Community + Lab = C.I.M.E Lab.

At C.I.M.E Lab, we believe film photography should be accessible to everyone. We started the lab because we saw how expensive, exclusive, and intimidating shooting film had become, and we wanted to build something different. A place where people could process their film with confidence, ask questions without judgement, and feel part of a growing community of photographers.

Founded in Camden, London by photographer and lab technician Akinyemi Paul Odulate, C.I.M.E Lab combines professional film processing with a commitment to education, creativity, and community. We specialise in developing ECN-2, C-41, black and white, and E-6 film, while offering high-quality scanning and support for photographers at every stage of their journey—from first-time film shooters to experienced professionals.

For us, developing film is more than a service—it's part of the creative process. Every roll contains someone's memories, experiments, milestones, or personal story, and we treat each one with the care it deserves. Whether you're documenting everyday life, creating work for an exhibition, or shooting your very first roll, we're here to help you get the most from your images.

Beyond the lab, we're building a stronger film photography community. Through The Caught In My Eye Project (The CIME Project), our Community Interest Company, we run workshops, photowalks, educational programmes, and creative opportunities that use film photography to bring people together, support wellbeing, and make analogue photography more representative of the communities around us.
